Energy like gentle sonic waves are your arms wrapped around me

Like swimming with youthful strokes living water sets me free

Your heart in my mind and my spirit uttering your words

My God how you empower me with flight like the birds

Partnered with you all my worries disappear

It's here on your shoulders where my vision becomes clear

Take me even deeper into wisdom and grace

Heal my horizons that I may find my place

Teach me to fly on the wings of your great love

Give me the dreams of my heart I knew not of

Lead me to dance in your rushing rain water

I want to believe in destiny's wilds

Give me the will of a stubborn young child

Let me hope in something incredible

Dream like a kid where anything is possible

I want to fly above the clouds like before

To conquer the oceans and run to their roar

To retake the days when I was invincible

And really believe that nothing's impossible

Curse all the lies that I have believed
Damned be depression and all it conceived
Be gone all you doubts, you worries and fears
For I see the Lamb and His love is revealed

Inspired by grace and love beyond compare
I'm stunned for a moment with a wide eyed stare
You've given it all even more than I knew
How deeply you love so that I will trust you

I am loved, I am loved I will boast of your love
Your greatness exceeds and abounds from above
I am filled to the brim and bursting within
'Your grace is sufficient' is much more than a hymn

It's power to live to heal and to bless
It's knowing the one who for you wants the best
It's rebirth and refreshing, a mercifully clean slate
It is freedom to be and to walk through the gate

Crossing the Ocean of Faith

How do I fly and keep a foot on the ground

How can I sail with my anchor unbound

How can I war while keeping the peace

How do I let go if I refuse to release

I cannot race on if I'm always slowing down

Nor can I swim if my strokes are not sound

And how can I sing if my mouth does not open

Or see the whole world if I fear crossing oceans

...I can't.

Living with purpose is a choice I must make

Making my life count is not something I can fake

Living in fear of shadows is no longer an option 

Love has propelled me and light has flushed the toxin

It's time to pick up my feet and haul up the anchor

To decide where I stand, to let loose and conquer

Time to run the race with ever increasing pace

To cross the oceans and spread wide my arms in faith
