"The Dancing Game"
By: Adrielle R. Bollin
Taking steps forward, back and to the side
Dancing, escaping from the label's backside
I've tried on the hats, looked both short and quite tall
But who can I be if I'm no one at all
I picked up the crowns and set them back down
Built up new castles and sewn up new gowns
Yet still I am no one since I choose no profession
I'm topsey and turvey like a nervous confession
Delighting the game as I skirt to and fro
Dodging and diving in the winds and the glow
But soon I am tired with no place to stay
I want to lie down but then couldn't get away
So here in the shadow is where I shall hide
Until I can settle, until I decide
Who will I be, which label accept I
My future it hinges on the wisdom I fly
