The Woman at the Well
By: Adrie'lle R. Bollin
How is it that you speak to me
When all the rules say that I am unclean
You are holy and purest of love
I am unruly and steady as mud
Yet because of your son you look past what I see
Deep in my heart you find gold finely weaved
So life is your language and joy is your key
Unlocking potential and casting out grief
Slowly you guide my feet to your path
Patiently waiting though I get off track
Walking and talking with me all the while
Relishing each of my laughs and my smiles
John 4:9, 10 9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans)10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
Nice to see you back Adrielle, what a set of absolutely stunning images and captivating words...
